Software Engineer

Cboe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for their Clearisq platform, a critical system for post-trade services in the financial industry. This role involves hands-on work across the stack, focusing on architecture, code quality, and long-term sustainability, with a hybrid four-day in-office work model.

• Act as technical owner of the Clearisq codebase
• Define and maintain target architecture
• Set and enforce engineering standards for correctness and performance
• Leverage AI tools for code comprehension and development
• Collaborate with Risk, Quant, and Operations stakeholders
• Strong experience in Java backend systems
