About this role
Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Product Software Engineer to design and develop a feature-rich streaming media playback library for Apple devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the streaming technology stack, ensuring a consistent and best-in-class experience across all Disney direct-to-consumer brands.
What we are looking for
6- Design and implement solutions for new features integrating with Disney media services
- Collaborate on API design with peer and front-end teams
- Research and development for media playback experiences, integration, and testing
- Specialize in Apple technologies like UIKit, SwiftUI, AVKit, and StoreKit
- Develop a layered architecture for media playback spanning Disney+, ESPN, ABC News, and Hulu
- Ensure consistent software architecture for a best-in-class streaming experience
