Principal Engineer (Golang, Distributed Systems) - Isovalent Secure Workload (remote)

Isovalent, now part of Cisco, is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead backend services for their workload security product. You will provide technical leadership, architectural contributions, and focus on improving scale, performance, reliability, and security for complex distributed systems. This remote role requires extensive experience in building scalable software systems and technical leadership.

• Provide technical leadership and architectural contributions to backend services
• Focus on improving scale, performance, reliability, and security
• Collect and process telemetry at scale from customer environments
• Implement highly scalable APIs with minimal latency
• Work with distributed systems and their unique failure modes
• 10+ years of experience building software systems in Go, C++, or Java
