Lead Forward Deployed Fullstack Engineer

Turing is seeking an experienced Lead Full-Stack Engineer to extend existing systems with AI and agentic capabilities. This role requires deep Java and React expertise, a polyglot mindset, and the ability to mentor junior developers and drive architectural decisions. The ideal candidate is a strong, fungible engineer comfortable with both legacy Java applications and modern React client portals, capable of integrating AI/LLM functionality into real-world business workflows.

• 10+ years of hands-on software development with deep Java full-stack expertise
• Strong command of Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and ReactJS
• Experience building cloud-based architectures on AWS/Azure and integrating AI/LLM functionality
• Ability to mentor junior developers and drive architectural decisions
• Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs and working with relational/NoSQL databases
• Experience integrating LLMs into applications via APIs and understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases
