About this role

Genesys is seeking a Software Engineer to build and support AI-powered backend microservices for CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This hybrid role, based in Durham, NC or Indianapolis, IN, focuses on automation, scalability, and leveraging AI-assisted development practices to enhance developer experience and system reliability.

What we are looking for

Implement Python microservices for CI/CD pipelines
Develop APIs and automation for deployment processes
Support and maintain backend services for system reliability
Apply AI-assisted engineering practices for accelerated development

3-5 years of experience with microservices, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
