About this role

Lead the growth and evolution of Datadog's Forward Deployed Engineering function, shaping its framework, processes, and reach. This role blends sales, engineering leadership, and program design to define and scale the FDE offering for startups.

What we are looking for

Evolve and scale the FDE operating model end to end
Build out a catalog of FDE offerings including AI observability accelerators
Capture product and feature gaps and partner with PM/Engineering
Hire, onboard, and develop FDEs and manage technical secondments
Identify and drive mini-product opportunities into reusable assets
Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success
