Search Systems (Lucene, Elasticsearch, Solr,) Software Engineering Lead

Lead a team of engineers in designing and delivering scalable search and retrieval systems using technologies like Elasticsearch and Solr. This role involves hands-on coding, architectural decision-making, and technical mentorship to evolve the search platform for diverse products and users.

• Provide technical leadership for the Search Experience team
• Guide design and implementation of shared search and retrieval systems
• Own technical delivery of search platform initiatives
• Expand content search and improve relevance using vector and lexical search
• Design and develop scalable search services using Elasticsearch, Spark, and Airflow
• Write clean, modular, and testable code in Python and/or Java
