As a Senior Full Stack Integration Engineer, you will be a hands-on practitioner at the center of that effort — designing and building enterprise-grade APIs, microservices, and middleware using Azure .NET, Azure API Management (APIM), and MuleSoft API-led development, backed by strong DevOps practices and experience across data and data warehouse platforms. You will collaboratively develop solutions alongside onshore and offshore developers, architects, and cross-functional technology teams, contributing your expertise, elevating the work around you, and owning your deliverables end-to-end. The expectation is that you bring deep, proven experience and can operate with a high degree of autonomy from day one. What You'll Do: API, Microservices & Backend Development • Develop scalable C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) applications, REST APIs, and microservices using Azure cloud-native architecture and best practices. • Build, deploy, and manage applications on Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps, and Azure Static Web Apps, Azure logic apps ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. • Design, publish, secure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), including authentication, policies, versioning, throttling, caching, monitoring, and API lifecycle management. • Integrate Azure services including Service Bus, Event Hubs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Leverage AI-assisted development tools Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar to accelerate development, improve code quality, automate testing, and enhance developer productivity. MuleSoft API-Led Development • Design and develop API-led integrations (System, Process, and Experience APIs) using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Code Builder, and Mule 4. • Build reusable MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and DataWeave transformations to connect enterprise applications, cloud services, and third-party systems. • Deploy and manage Mule applications on CloudHub 2.0, including runtime configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and environment management. • Implement API security, integration patterns, error handling, messaging, and logging to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integrations. • Leverage Anypoint Code Builder, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools Claude Code to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate testing. Cloud, Data & Data Warehouse Integration • Develop data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps • Deliver integrations across enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, eCommerce portals, PIM systems, and data warehouse/lakehouse environments • Support consumption of APIs and data services by downstream reporting, analytics, and data warehouse platforms DevOps & Engineering Practices • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform and GitHub, promoting engineering best practices across the integration and API codebase • Manage build, release, and environment configuration for .NET, APIM, and MuleSoft deployments • Maintain observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting tooling across the integration platform Quality, Security & Collaboration • Implement API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT across .NET, APIM, and MuleSoft APIs • Provide L2/L3 production support, triaging and resolving integration issues with urgency and thoroughness • Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore developers, sharing knowledge and contributing to a high standard of delivery across the team • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate productivity and improve code quality • Model the employee portion of the Berlin Values What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications • 5–7+ years of hands-on, full stack experience in enterprise API and integration development • Strong hands-on expertise building APIs, microservices, and middleware/backend services with Azure .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core Web API), including publishing and managing APIs through Azure API Management (APIM) — security policies, versioning, and payload/performance optimization • Deep expertise with MuleSoft API-led development on the Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Code Builder, CloudHub 2.0 deployment, and DataWeave transformations • Strong command of REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML integration patterns • Solid DevOps experience: CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub • Hands-on experience with Azure data and integration services — Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, Service Bus, and Key Vault • Familiarity with data warehouse or lakehouse architecture and data pipeline development • Experience with messaging and event-driven platforms (Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Anypoint MQ, or Kafka) • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Oracle PeopleSoft, or similar platforms • Solid understanding of API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT • Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-enabled APIs • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment with onshore and offshore contributors Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (or similar Azure certification) • MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) certification • Experience with Azure OpenAI or similar LLM platforms in an integration context • Experience with event-driven architecture patterns at scale • Exposure to API governance frameworks and reusable integration design • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery practices • Background in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or packaging industries IL Base Pay Range $110,000—$130,000 USD Berlin Packaging offers an outstanding compensation and benefits package including: • Competitive PTO including vacation, personal days, holidays, and sick time • 1Berlin Shared Ownership Plan • Profit sharing • 401(k) with company match • Medical insurance including dental insurance • Health Savings Account (HSA) • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) for transportation, medical, and dependent care expenses • Vision insurance options • Paid parental leave for up to 12-weeks • Health club reimbursement • Tuition reimbursement • 529 college savings plan • Employee Assistance Program for mental health and well-being • Calm app to improve mental wellbeing • Employee referral program • Company sponsored life insurance with optional voluntary life insurance • Company sponsored short- and long-term disability At Berlin Packaging, we look at candidates’ skills but hire based on traits.
