Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Archer, an aerospace company, is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to build and scale the core logic, streaming pipelines, and data layers for their real-time AI tracking platform. You will focus on ingesting, modeling, and serving high-frequency telemetry data for downstream applications and AI models.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems, microservices, and APIs
• Implement stateful stream-processing applications for telemetry and event data
• Architect robust data models for low-latency writes and real-time queries
• Collaborate with frontend and AI/data science teams
• Participate in full software development lifecycle including testing and monitoring
• Investigate, debug, and optimize application performance
