Sr. Embedded Software Engineer

Archer is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work on safety-critical software for their all-electric aircraft. You will be responsible for the verification and validation of software components, designing and executing test plans, and developing automated test scripts. This role requires a strong understanding of safety-critical software development standards and hands-on experience with embedded systems.

• Verify and validate safety-critical software components per DO-178C standards
• Design, develop, and document test plans, cases, and procedures
• Execute Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using C/C++ and Python
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Experience with safety-critical software development and verification standards (DO-178C)
