Senior Frontier Agents Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineering)

Scale AI is seeking a Senior Frontier Agent Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers on deploying and operating production AI systems. This role involves architecting, integrating, and deploying AI solutions, combining software engineering, distributed systems, and AI technologies to transform models into reliable enterprise software.

• Architect and deploy production AI systems integrating with complex enterprise environments
• Design scalable agent architectures combining LLMs, retrieval, memory, and tools
• Build robust integrations for secure AI agent interaction with customer systems
• Develop production infrastructure for frontier AI research and reliable enterprise software
• Operationalize AI quality systems to ensure production agent reliability
• Partner with enterprise customers to understand infrastructure and translate problems into AI architectures
