Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, testing, and deploying their digital platform on AWS. This role involves building a world-class platform for digital applications, focusing on backend RESTful API web services using Microservices architecture.

What we are looking for

Provide technical leadership in design, development, testing, and deployment of digital platform on AWS
Design and develop backend RESTful API web services using Microservices architecture
Oversee and mentor other developers, conduct code reviews
Act as team leader for development and support groups
Drive application development focused on delivering valuable business features
Experience with Java 17+, SpringBoot, AWS/Azure, message streaming, datastores (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis), and CI/CD tools
