Senior Software Engineer

Remitly is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to build and enhance their two-sided money movement platform for emerging markets. You will design and implement backend services, APIs, and durable workflows for onboarding, payments, and payouts, leveraging AI coding agents to increase velocity. This role involves owning features end-to-end, setting technical standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Design and ship backend product features end to end
• Build money-movement flows at scale on Temporal
• Utilize AI coding agents for development velocity
• Set technical standards for well-tested, resilient, and scalable systems
