About this role

Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive innovation in designing and delivering data-driven components for Modern Delivery initiatives. This role involves architectural decision-making, leading microservices development with Java and modern UI technologies, and implementing DevOps and CI/CD best practices.

What we are looking for

Lead technical and architectural decisions for system design and infrastructure
Architect microservices solutions using Java/JEE, modern UI, Docker, and OpenShift
Implement scaling strategies and mentor teams in containerization and orchestration
Establish CI/CD best practices using Atlassian tool suite
Provide technical guidance for quality, security, and code reviews
Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical knowledge resources
