Software Engineer

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, verify, and deliver high-quality software components. This hybrid role involves working in an Agile DevOps environment to meet DO178 objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to process improvements. The position requires practical experience in software design, embedded systems, and testing, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Develop software components throughout the lifecycle to achieve DO178 objectives
• Evaluate verification and test results, support defect investigation
• Follow configuration management and change control practices in a DevOps environment
• Work in an Agile environment with cross-functional engineering teams
• Create technical documentation and reports
• Contribute to departmental capability growth and process improvement
