Software Development Engineer

Roche is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to build a cloud-native platform for AI-driven drug discovery. You will develop and maintain core features of the Therapeutic Molecule Registration platform, design APIs and microservices for molecular data, and write high-quality, testable code. This role offers the opportunity to shape architecture, build for scale, and collaborate with scientific and machine learning teams.

• Develop and maintain core features of the Therapeutic Molecule Registration platform
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for molecular data
• Write high-quality, testable code for chemical registration workflows
• Contribute to technical design discussions and shape platform architecture
• Build cloud-native systems supporting rapid iteration between design and validation
• Collaborate with computational sciences, machine learning, and drug discovery groups
