Software Engineer: Frontend

Generalist is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build intuitive interfaces for advanced robotics. You will own frontend development from prototype to production, translating complex technical needs into user-friendly applications. This role requires strong engineering skills and a keen eye for product design, ensuring interfaces are both functional and delightful to use.

• Build web applications for robot monitoring, data exploration, and internal tooling
• Develop interactive visualizations for robot telemetry and experiment results
• Shape frontend architecture and establish a cohesive design system
• Collaborate with researchers, operators, and customers to gather feedback
• Ship and maintain production web applications using TypeScript and React
• Strong frontend architecture fundamentals and experience with asynchronous data management
