About this role

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Heimdall team, focusing on developing high-quality SDKs and developer-facing APIs for accessing and manipulating design and manufacturing data. You will work extensively with modern C#/.NET and C++, contributing to the full lifecycle of our SDKs from architecture and design to implementation, testing, and release. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys deep technical problem-solving, collaborative design discussions, and continuous learning, while also leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

What we are looking for

Design, implement, test, and maintain production-quality SDKs and reusable software components
Develop across modern C#/.NET and modern C++, including managed/native interoperability
Design intuitive, maintainable, and evolving developer-facing APIs
Own software through its complete delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD and release
Collaborate with Autodesk product and platform teams integrating with SDKs
Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools responsibly
