Manager, Software Engineering

AutoNation is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead teams responsible for business-critical platforms. You will manage engineers, develop talent, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software, combining people leadership, technical fluency, and business partnership. This role will also focus on advancing AI-enabled engineering practices to improve quality and efficiency.

• Lead, coach, and develop software engineers
• Build effective teams through thoughtful staffing and hiring
• Own delivery across scope, quality, timing, budget, and reliability
• Partner with product and business leaders to shape roadmaps
• Guide teams delivering Java, Angular, AWS, and microservices solutions
• Lead responsible adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices
