Staff Device Engineer

Dragos is seeking a Staff Device Engineer to design and build software that automates interactions with network-connected devices for xOT cybersecurity. This role involves understanding device communication protocols, developing core automation systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance device identification and interaction capabilities.

• Design and build production software for identifying, fingerprinting, and interacting with network-connected devices
• Own and evolve shared frameworks and services for device support
• Analyze network traffic and device communication protocols to create automated capabilities
• Mentor engineers and lead technical design discussions
• Collaborate with product, security research, and customer-facing teams
