Lead Software Engineer

Highmark Health is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join an agile team responsible for building scalable software applications. You will take an architectural view of solutions, lead development efforts, and mentor other engineers. This role involves all aspects of the software build process, from idea generation to final execution, using modern technologies and design patterns.

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications
• Write code adhering to standards and perform code reviews
• Explore and implement technical solutions for product features
• Participate in agile ceremonies and drive story creation
• Mentor other software engineers and collaborate on complex solutions
• 7 years of experience in designing and deploying scalable, highly available systems
