About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Enterprise Pipeline Services team. This role involves leading the design, development, and support of highly resilient, scalable, and secure platform and pipeline services. You will partner with technology leaders to drive modernization, improve platform reliability, and deliver robust cloud-native solutions using modern GenAI development tools.

What we are looking for

Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, resilient, cloud-native applications
Design and build microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases
Apply Twelve-Factor App principles and cloud-native design patterns
Utilize GenAI development tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor
Design enterprise-grade application architectures with patterns like Strangler and Saga
Lead complex technology initiatives and mentor engineers
