About this role

Join Cisco's Distributed System Engineering group to develop large-scale distributed systems for AI/ML workloads and growing internet demands. You will work on data-center features for the Cisco 8000 Platform using the SONiC network operating system, focusing on data plane and control plane software development.

What we are looking for

Develop data plane and control plane software
Create, develop, and learn about L2/L3 forwarding, ACLs, QoS, Mirroring
Code in C++ and Python for maintainable code
Experience with Linux Kernel and Open Standard Networking Systems
Familiarity with networking protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN
Experience with debugging tools and CI/CD pipeline tools
