About this role
WEX is seeking a Backend Software Engineer Intern to join their Technology team for a 13-week paid program. You will work on impactful projects, designing and maintaining backend services on AWS, writing well-tested code, and utilizing AI developer tools responsibly. What we are looking for
6- Design and maintain backend services using Go or Java on AWS
- Support, deploy, and manage backend systems hosted on AWS
- Write unit and UI tests to validate code quality
- Utilize AI productivity tools to accelerate development tasks
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Go or other backend languages with solid engineering fundamentals
