About this role

Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join a team developing and enhancing software systems for national security. This role offers an early-career engineer the chance to contribute to real-world software development, analyze requirements, design and debug software, and integrate it into operating environments. You will play a key part in evolving mission software as technologies and operational needs change.

What we are looking for

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
Debug existing software and correct defects
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
Help resolve software problem reports
