System Software Engineer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to design, develop, and debug software for new products and enhancements. This role involves working on large-scale distributed systems, gathering requirements, and contributing to complex technical problem-solving. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and potentially lead project teams.

• Design, develop, and debug software for systems software, networking, utilities, and databases
• Develop software for large scale distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Gather system requirements from product managers, customers, and engineers
• Apply subject matter expertise to solve complex technical problems
• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate with management and development partners on design status and issue resolution
