Software Engineer (L2)

Twilio is seeking a Software Engineer (L2) to join their remote-first Messaging team. You will design, build, and optimize large-scale distributed systems for messaging and media functionalities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. This role involves end-to-end code ownership, operational support, and mentoring junior engineers.

• Design and build large-scale distributed messaging and media systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to gather requirements
• Own code from development to deployment and provide operational support
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement
• Mentor early-career engineers
