About this role

Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive Java Full Stack experience to join their Bangalore team. This role involves architecting and developing large-scale, distributed, and highly available web applications using Java/J2EE, Microservices, and modern frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle.

Develop Microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and related technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance applications and integrate new frameworks
Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure application security throughout the lifecycle
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
More than 14 years of application development experience
