Cisco's Common Hardware Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Diagnostic/BSP team in Milpitas, CA. This role focuses on developing software for network switches and routers, ensuring hardware reliability and performance, and working with advanced technologies for AI and ML workloads. You will design, develop, and test software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to cutting-edge networking solutions.

What we are looking for

Design, develop, and test BSP and Diagnostics for Cisco routing products
Develop kernel and user space device drivers for FPGA and networking peripherals
Execute software test plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in C and Python programming
Experience with Linux hardware bring-up and embedded systems
Bachelor's degree in EE/CE or related field with 2+ years experience
