About this role
Taxwell is seeking a part-time WordPress consultant to provide technical ownership for eight WordPress sites. You will be the primary WordPress expert, independently managing administration, security, troubleshooting, and feature development. This role is ideal for a senior generalist who can take ownership of tasks from diagnosis to production with minimal oversight.
What we are looking for 6
- Administer and maintain WordPress sites on WP Engine
- Manage WordPress core, themes, plugins, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve site errors, vulnerabilities, and conflicts
- Develop new features, modify pages, templates, and themes
- Perform technical SEO tasks and support content teams
- Experience with AI-assisted development and integrations
