Staff Software Engineer - Core Services

Aurora Innovation is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Core Services team. This role focuses on designing and implementing a new asset management solution to scale the autonomous vehicle fleet. You will build backend services for fleet management, vehicle communication, and monitoring within Aurora's AWS cloud.

• Design complex backend systems from the ground up
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Operations
• Design, implement, and maintain micro-backend architecture on AWS
• Develop fleet management and vehicle communication solutions
• Establish technology for scalable, highly available products
• Contribute to team culture and engineering excellence
