Senior Software Engineer

Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a remote-first role to build and operate mission-critical healthcare technology for prior authorization. You will work across the full stack, partnering with product, design, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality software that impacts patient access to care. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex distributed systems problems in a multi-tenant healthcare environment.

• Own epic-level efforts end-to-end
• Design, build, and maintain services across full stack (Java, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka)
• Identify and resolve technical risks including performance and reliability
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
