Junior Software Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the design, development, and implementation of UAS-related software. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, writing technical documentation, and ensuring seamless integration between software, hardware, and network components.

• Support software design and implementation, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
• Assist with debugging and optimization for large-scale systems
• Create detailed technical documentation, including system designs, APIs, and architectural diagrams
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with managers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders for system integration
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development processes
