Sr Software Engineer- Customer Experience Intelligence (CXI)

Databricks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and deliver an AI-native vertical workflow platform focused on Customer Experience Intelligence. This role involves building intelligent systems that orchestrate AI agents and humans for end-to-end operational workflows, initially for customer support and expanding to other domains. You will contribute to the core infrastructure, backend architecture, and ensure reliability and scalability of agentic-based systems.

• Architect the Enterprise Agentic Framework
• Build a multi-tenant agent platform for support and other domains
• Drive backend development with strict quality and reliability standards
• Design state-machine and agentic workflows
• Implement enterprise-grade observability and rollback mechanisms
• Act as a technical liaison across multiple teams
