Senior Software Engineer

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the CNN Engagement Web team in Atlanta. This role focuses on front-end development, driving technical initiatives at the intersection of news publishing, A/B experimentation, and data-informed product decisions. You will contribute to architecture, design, development, and deployment, while mentoring junior engineers and raising engineering standards.

• Drive technical initiatives for news publishing, A/B experimentation, and data-informed product decisions
• Shape architecture and implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Contribute end-to-end from planning to deployment
• Mentor and develop junior engineers
• Build and scale applications and infrastructure for CNN use cases
• Experience with modern JavaScript/ES6, Node.js, and AWS services
