Software Engineer I (Onsite)

RTX, a global aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Tactical Situational Awareness group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This entry-level role focuses on designing and implementing Agile software engineering processes for next-generation avionics systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance pilot awareness and operational safety.

• Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++, Java, and Python
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers
• Work with cross-functional research teams on software prototypes
• Implement requirements, detailed design, integration, and verification
• Contribute to a positive work environment and learn new technologies
