Lead AI Engineer — Productivity Systems

Nubank is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy LLM-powered systems for internal productivity. This role focuses on applied AI engineering, integrating AI into business processes, and ensuring the reliability and safety of AI systems in production. You will work with frontier models, build evaluation frameworks, and drive AI adoption across the company.

• Design and ship LLM-powered agents and workflows
• Integrate LLMs into internal tools and business processes
• Build evaluation harnesses and guardrails for AI systems
• Own the full lifecycle of AI systems from prototype to production
• Drive technical strategy for AI adoption and governance
• Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical reference for applied AI
