About this role

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer with Python and AWS experience to support a DIA-NDOC DOMEX Technology Platform contract in Bethesda, MD. You will develop and maintain scalable microservices, work with Kafka and Elasticsearch, and deploy services in a Kubernetes environment. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams on a data-centric architecture leveraging AI and ML.

What we are looking for

Design, develop, test, and maintain Python microservices
Implement message consumers and producers with Apache Kafka
Integrate with Elasticsearch for data indexing and querying
Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy services in Kubernetes clusters
Experience with AWS/C2S and machine learning concepts
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required
