Software Development Engineer

As a Software Development Engineer at Remitly, you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, shaping the vision, architecture, and roadmap for our core software platform services. You will build scalable applications and backend services that power global fund disbursements and data flow, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and security in a fast-paced financial services environment.

• Build scalable applications and backend services using Golang, Java, and AWS
• Implement software systems for efficient engineering practices and standardization
• Assess and validate software systems for security, reliability, and performance
• Accelerate developer tools and software delivery practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product engineering teams and product managers
• Experience with distributed systems, AWS cloud computing, and full-stack development
