About this role

USAA is seeking a mid-level Java Full Stack Engineer to join their Investment Experience Technology team. You will design and implement high-impact solutions for a new investment services platform, working with a modern tech stack including Java, APIs, and OpenShift. This hybrid role requires 4 days in the office and offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-driven financial security products.

Design, develop, and test complex technical solutions
Collaborate with a strong team to deliver scalable, high-quality software
Work with a modern tech stack including Go, Java, APIs, and OpenShift
Build the next generation of investment solutions for members and financial advisors
Mentor junior engineers and review teammates' code
Experience with Java Full Stack, API Design, Containerization (Docker, OpenShift), CI/CD, and TDD
