About this role
Roche is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Computational Sciences Center of Excellence in Welwyn. You will build scalable applications, data pipelines, and agents to modernize scientific and data ecosystems, empowering scientists and accelerating drug discovery. This role involves full-stack development, API integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What we are looking for
6- Build robust scientific software solutions, data flows, and pipelines
- Apply Open Source, Cloud-First, API-First, and AI-First methodologies
- Develop scalable data ecosystems using microservices and event-driven design
- Collaborate with scientists, Data Engineers, and Product Leaders
- Integrate diverse datasets to power AI/ML use cases
- Full stack development experience with databases, APIs, and cloud-native architectures
