Senior Backend Engineer, Developer Platform (Horde)

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their developer platform team, working on the internal Horde platform. This role involves collaborating on architecture, implementing new features, and supporting internal teams and Unreal licensees. The position requires strong backend and server architecture experience, particularly with distributed systems and CI/CD infrastructure.

• Design and steer Horde platform architecture for scalability and maintainability
• Implement new features and fix bugs within the Horde codebase
• Support internal teams and Unreal licensees using the platform
• Develop and extend Horde plugin architecture for Build, Compute, Storage, Secrets, and Tools
• 6+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems
• Expertise in C# and .NET, with cloud solutions like AWS
