Staff Backend Software Engineer, On-prem

SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services for on-premises deployments. You will work with a Go and Python microservices platform, focusing on operational correctness and upgrade safety for enterprise customers. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability of security infrastructure for large organizations.

• Design and develop backend services in Go (Flask, SQLAlchemy, gevent)
• Own the deployment lifecycle using Docker and Kubernetes
• Build and evolve REST and gRPC APIs with backwards-compatibility
• Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for schema evolution and query optimization
• Drive observability improvements with OpenTelemetry and Grafana
• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Go in a production microservices environment
