About this role

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Emerging Technologies and Incubation team, focusing on distributed database systems. You will own the development and optimization of core storage layers that power key services like R2, Durable Objects, and Workers KV, working on complex engineering challenges at a global scale.

Own distributed database systems across Cloudflare's edge network
Develop new features and extensions for core storage services

Build observability and tooling for database supportability
