Software Engineer Fullstack / Backend II (Full Time) – United States

Join Cisco's Control Plane organization to build and maintain a large-scale, self-service automated platform for deploying cloud services. You will architect developer tools, manage multi-cloud infrastructure, and integrate AI to enhance engineering workflows. This role requires U.S. citizenship and offers the opportunity to solve complex distributed systems challenges at immense scale.

• Maintain services in a FedRAMP compliant environment
• Architect self-service developer tools and abstractions
• Deploy and monitor production systems across AWS, GCP, Azure, and GovCloud
• Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose and resolve production incidents
• Build and integrate AI-powered tools into engineering workflows
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Ruby)
