Software engineer

Hargreaves Lansdown is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join their Onboarding engineering team. You will build and evolve customer discovery platforms, focusing on AWS serverless backend services and APIs while also contributing to frontend applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud-native technologies and shape customer onboarding experiences.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Build scalable APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
• Develop AWS serverless applications and cloud-native services
• Contribute to platform scalability, resilience, observability, and performance
• Work across the full stack, taking ownership of features from design to production
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, and Engineering teams to deliver customer value
