Sr. Staff Software Architect

Abbott is seeking a Sr. Staff Software Architect to lead the development of architecture and implementation strategies for software solutions within their ARDx Informatics Division. This role involves promoting architectural best practices, collaborating with development teams on healthcare software design, and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.

• Develop software reference architecture, system and platform roadmaps, and technical solutions
• Promote, guide, and govern adherence to architectural best practices
• Partner with development teams to create software architecture and design for medical device products
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize software application architectures
• Participate in requirements gathering, planning, and estimation efforts
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance software development efficiency and quality
