AXIS Capital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Reinsurance and Enterprise Risk team in Halifax. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical pricing, modeling, and exposure management systems, collaborating with global teams to enhance existing solutions and build next-generation tools.

What we are looking for

Provide technical expertise in overall solution design
Collaborate with IT teams like Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Data/Analytics
Mentor junior team members and lead workstreams
Ensure code quality and manage feature delivery from requirements to production
Develop and maintain exposure and modeling systems for reinsurance and enterprise risk
Work with Property and Cyber Modelling business teams
