AV is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design and implement low-level Linux-based software for embedded systems. This role involves working directly with hardware prototypes and lab equipment to develop foundational platform software for government, law enforcement, and commercial applications. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with deep hardware/software boundary experience, responsible for driving platform design, solving complex system issues, and providing technical guidance.

Design, implement, and maintain low-level platform software for Linux-based embedded systems
Work with hardware prototypes, chip-level interfaces, and lab equipment for bring-up and debugging
Develop robust, efficient, and maintainable software in C for performance-sensitive embedded environments
Own complex platform components and interfaces
Debug system-level issues spanning software, OS, drivers, and hardware
Support board bring-up, peripheral integration, and hardware/software interaction
