Software Engineer (Remote)

OPENLANE is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain our digital marketplace. You will work with backend systems using PHP and Node.js on AWS-hosted Kubernetes, manage SQL databases, and improve development workflows. This role emphasizes reliability, performance, and clean code, with opportunities to leverage AI tools and take ownership of services from development to production.

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems using PHP and Node.js
• Develop containerized microservices on AWS-hosted Kubernetes (EKS)
• Work with SQL databases and manage application dependencies
• Troubleshoot across the application stack and ensure reliability
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development speed and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
